why did you decide to use gocco?
"Always on the lookout for less-toxic printmaking methods I came across gocco printing when on holiday in Tokyo. "
what do you love about gocco?
" I love its ease of use, and its simple design. "
how do you feel about the death of gocco? Do you see any parallel to Polaroid film?
"It's very sad that gocco and also poloroid film are going - just when I've become interested. They both provide a unique visual aesthetic."
are you finding hacks or just using other print methods?
"I haven't as yet tried any alternatives to gocco, but as my supplies dwindle I'll probably get back to screen printing and woodblock printing. Hopefully this will ease the sadness."
are you squirreling away your dwindling gocco supplies?
"I'm definitely squirreling! Also the pressure is really on not to waste anything, so it's difficult to decide which images in my sketchbook to turn into gocco prints."
have you seen an increase in demand for gocco prints now that they've discontinued the product?
"Yes I have noticed a slight increase."
